Hundreds of youth leaders gather to attend the 4th General Assembly of Tagum Cooperative Youth Laboratory Cooperative on March 25, 2019 at VJR Auditorium, National Highway, Tagum City.
Leading the flock is Laureta Elementary School with a total of one hundred and three students accompanied by their parents and school coordinators.
The participants were inspired and educated by highly capable speakers from the private and public partners of TCYLC, namely: Dr. Elma R. Oguis, Regional Director of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) XI and Dr. Josephine L. Fadul, Schools Division Superintendent of the Department of Education – Davao del Norte Division. Youth leaders were also inspired to advocate financial literacy as discussed by Dir. Rosalina S. Argent and Chief Executive Officer Juirs D. Perez.
Keynote message from Mr. Louie Bryan M. Lapat, Tagum City’s Information Officer III, motivated and encouraged the participants to continue sharing their unwavering passion for youth development and empowerment.
Highlighted during the event was the awarding of winners for the Search for Aflatoun Financial Literacy Awards and Youth Lab Officer’s Service Awards for both teachers’ and pupils’ categories.
Youth leaders exercised their rights as coop members as they deliberately discussed significant agenda during the Assembly Proper. Voting for elective positions then ensued with the hereunder results:
