Tagum Cooperative hits another milestone after successfully launching its 28th expansion in Ozamiz, City, Misamis Occidental on November 18, 2022.
The said expansion is included in the strategic planning for the year 2022 where part of the planning is to expand operations and services across cities in Mindanao. Tagum Cooperative has identified several strategies in the roadmap to accommodate the increasing demand of members and potential customers.
The launching and inauguration began with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Edmar Tabada, followed by a ribbon cutting led by Chairperson of the Board Dir Janet T. Matuguinas, along with the members of the Board of Directors, and Chief Executive Officer Juris D. Perez, along with Management and Staff.
In the speech, Dir. Matuguinas emphasized the importance of collaboration in assisting TC Ozamiz to develop and progress in the future. She emphasized Tagum Cooperative’s remarkable progress over the years, which would best serve as inspiration for TC Ozamiz.
The dedication and support of the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and Staff were felt and appreciated during the launching. Additionally, the City Government of Ozamiz also expressed their warm welcome and acknowledged the significant contribution of the Cooperative in the long run. In presence is the Vice Mayor of Ozamiz City Hon. Simplicia O. Neri and Chief of Police Dennis Peñas Tano. Mayor Neri positively expressed her strong belief in the Cooperative to help Ozamiz City achieve incomparable progress.
Meanwhile, various digital platforms such as FaceBook Live and Zoom Conference were utilized extensively to invite all branches and satellite offices to be in the celebration of the grand opening of TC Ozamiz and showcase their pride and honor.
On the other side, Tagum Cooperative Chairperson Dir. Monica L. Salido concluded the program with a call for harmonious unity and cooperation. She stated that fellow cooperatives both sisters and brothers needed to create rhythmic movement in the community.
Indeed, the achievement and expansion demonstrate that Tagum Cooperative remains the icon of trust and excellence among its member-clients-customers throughout Mindanao. Tagum Cooperative is on top of its game and the newest expansion paves the way for the residents of Northern Mindanao to experience the quality service Tagum Cooperative has to offer. As branded, the Cooperative ensures sustainability and, in essence, increases its strength over time.
