This collaboration, sealed through a Board of Directors Resolution No. 815, S. 2023 on December 11, 2023, signifies TC’s strategic move to expand its healthcare offerings and provide more comprehensive services to its members.
1CoopHealth, owned and managed by the Cooperative Health Management Federation (CHMF), led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Paul Allan A. Espina, M.D., has a distinguished track record in the healthcare sector. Since its inception and formal initiation of HMO operations in 2015, CHMF has consistently evolved and expanded its services, with a particular focus on low-income and informal sectors. Regulatory agencies such as the Insurance Commission, Department of Health, and Cooperative Development Authority closely oversee its operations, ensuring quality and reliability in healthcare provision.
The partnership between TC and 1CoopHealth was solidified on January 20, 2024, with an agreement to integrate 1CoopHealth’s healthcare services into TC’s Himsug Pamilya Program. The signing ceremony, graced by Mr. Espina and key representatives from both organizations, underscores a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and affordability for TC’s members.
Mr. Espina, alongside his team comprising Sales and Marketing Manager Ms. Rosemarie Magbiray, Medical Assistant Manager Mr. Jayson Lugos, and Accounts Specialist Mr. Leo Allan Rebosura, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. TC’s leadership, including Chairperson of the Board Dir. Nenita R. Malbas, Chief Executive Officer Ms. Juris D. Perez, and Chief Operations Officer Ms. Vivelyn D.
