As Tagum Cooperative complies with the Government mandate that prohibits face-to-face gatherings, nothing can stop the multi-awarded coop in celebrating the contribution of its Members, Officers and Employees in achieving the strategic goals despite the challenges. The Annual Awarding Ceremony which was supposed to be conducted during the Annual Representative Assembly was cancelled this year due to Covid-19.

Tagum Cooperative moves its usual face-to-face Awarding Ceremony to a Virtual Awarding Ceremony held on October 27, 2020 via Zoom. Argent who received Presidential Citation recalls in her speech the challenges her leadership faced in the past year from the investment schemes, earthquakes and now, Covid-19. “In the cooperative history we always have the good times and the bad times. We will cherish the good times but the bad times will give us the lessons. And with our persevering spirit, our passion, our commitment and fervent prayers, we will surely achieve what we want to achieve. Rest assured that I will cherish this award.” Dir. Argent states.

Model Member Ana Marie Turla from Nabunturan Branch speaks in her message the contributions of Tagum Cooperative to her life. “This institution helped me and poor Filipinos like me having an easy access to financial services from the immediate needs like tuition fees for the education of our children to realize their future dreams and aspirations, feeds and fertilizers to sustain our agricultural livelihood for our daily bread. Your promotion of financial inclusion is proven important in improving the living conditions of our farmers, rural, non-farm enterprises and other vulnerable groups. I am honored to receive such recognition.” Ms. Turla concludes.
