Tagum Cooperative continues to pay forward its resources through donation of school kits to various schools of DepEd Tagum City Division as the Brigada Eskwela kicks off last August 03, 2022 at La Filipina National High School with the theme ” Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral.
The Brigada Eskwela started with motorcade activity where participants from various concerned organizations joined the parade and welcomed the attendees with the Dance Mob of La Filipina National High School Danza Filipina.
Mr. Anwar E. Maadel, the Focal Person of Division Partnerships set the program through acknowledgement of participants and discussed the background of Brigada Eskwela 2022.
Meanwhile, the school principal of La Filipina National High School, Mr. Dionisio B. Siglos officially opened the program and specifically recognized the attendance of Tagum Cooperative in support of the Brigada Eskwela. He said that he is ready to accept the challenge of Brigada Eskwela 2022. “We should always be ready. We are one in this battle”, he said.
Furthermore, the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Josephine L. Fadul, CESO V delivered her inspirational message emphasizing that education is a collaborative output. She said that it is everyone’s responsibility. “Brigada Eskwela is seeing stakeholders who always have time and passion”, she said. She also added that Brigada Eskwela refers to equality and generosity which, in return, brings solidarity. The superintendent further said that the Department of Education (DepEd) will commit to strive harder and improve learning outcomes of the students under their supervision. “To do what is humanly possible, to raise them to become intelligent” she said.
In closing statement, the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Melanie P. Estacio expressed her gratitude for the participation of all attendees who showed support to the Brigada Eskwela Kick Off. “Atin pong isaisip at pagyamanin ang kahulugan, ang tunay na kahulugan ng Brigada Eskwela. Ito ay ating ginagawa para maihanda ang bawat paaralan para sa makahulugang pagbabalik aral ng ating mga magaaral”, she said. The assistant superintendent is hopeful to advance learning outcomes through the donations from concerned agencies. She emphasized the challenge for teachers to quality education in nurturing the whole-being of the students.
The problem of quality education is a vast form where the presence of private sectors are viewed to have a linear relationship. Tagum Cooperative is guided with the principle carefully designed to address the needs of the community in providing desirable outcomes.
