The multi-billion homegrown Tagum Cooperative held its 4th Annual Representative Assembly(ARA) Awarding Ceremony via Zoom Conference last March 21, 2022, as part of its tradition to recognize exemplary members, officers, and employees in various categories.
The event was opened by one of the members of the Board of Directors and ARA Awards Committee Coordinator, Director ANTONIO C. ARAÑAS, MPA,, noting that this year’s Awarding Ceremony is special as the Committee carefully crafted, revised, and reviewed several times the various criteria for each category. “The most deserving ones among the qualified contenders will receive such honor. The Awards Committee has identified several categories depending on the nature and extent of contributions, participation, or performance that these Awardees from the Coop’s roster of membership, selected Management Executives and Employees, Branches or Departments, have extended to Tagum Cooperative operations.” Director Aranas states.
This careful deliberation was made possible with the rest of the members of the Awards Committee, headed by Director Aranas himself, Director NENITA R. MALBAS, CPA, MBA as his co-Coordinator, and Ms. Catherine B. Ali, HRM Officer III as the Awards Committee Chairperson.
Members, Officers, and Employees who qualified in each category such as Most Courteous Employee Award, Most Industrious Employee Award, Most Well-Groomed Employee Award for Male and Female, Loyalty Award, Top Collector of the Year, Star Sales Award, and Star Sales Award for CAC/MBA Award were recognized and given plaques as a token of the admirable service for the past year 2021. Following was the Chief Executive Officer awarded to Ms. JURIS D. PEREZ, CPA, MBA, and the Presidential Citation which was given to Director NOEL O, Chairperson, Board of Directors.
Tagum Cooperative General Santos Satellite Office garnered the Most Outstanding Branch/Satellite Office of the Year with their Branch Manager II, Mr. ROBERTO G. CORILLA, JR. as the Best Branch Manager of the Year.
Mr. Corilla said in his speech that the effort was made possible through the support of his team and the rest of the members of General Santos Satellite Office. “Our success last year is alongside the support of everyone. The presence of capable and dynamic leaders who provided guidance and support to the management officers and staff management has been an instrument to hit the unparalleled assets and other achievements of Tagum Cooperative in 2021,” Mr. Corilla further expresses.
