Love Month becomes Health Month as Tagum Cooperative’s Member Benefit and Assistance (MBA) and Education Committee brings forward its series of webinars focusing on the significant health concerns or comorbidities which are the risk factors prevalent during the COVID-19 pandemic

Dubbed as “Being A Healthy You,” the weeklong webinars focuses on topics: Cancer & Pneumonia, Diabetes Milletus & Hypertension, and HIV & AIDS, held from February 15-20, 2021. Hundreds of member-owners from the various coop business centers gather inside the virtual rooms as credible speakers from the City Health Office of the Local Government of Tagum shares their expertise and professional advises.

The pool of Resource Speakers includes Ms. Rae Katherine Apura, RN, Health and Education and Promotion Officer III, who shared meaningful presentation about Cancer & Pneumonia; Ms. Mellie R. Ortiz, City Health Focal Person, talked valuable thoughts about Diabetes Milletus & Hypertension; and Mr. Erwin S. Espinosa, City Health Focal Person entertained the participants through delivering practical jokes about the topic HIV and AIDS.

“This is our alternative way for reaching out to the members and reminding them to keep healthy especially during this pandemic,” states Ms. Shiela Jay S. Rubinos, MBA Business Manager. The series of webinars is an added benefit for members who are covered by the Himsug Pamilya Program (HPP) with P635 annual premium.
