Tagum Cooperative, in multilateral collaboration of Davao Oriental – Local Government Units (DO-LGUs), the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), and the Department of Education (DepEd), led the donation of school kits to San Isidro Integrated School and Campawan Elementary School on September 30, 2022 at Baganga, Davao Oriental.

“Tabang Paeskwela sa Tribo” is the third sequel of the event, which formerly took place at Panabo, Davao del Norte, particularly in Kutualan and Roxas primary schools. The venture aims to distribute and provide necessary materials for young IP learners and strengthen schools’ involvement in various activities and improve learning outcomes.

The beneficiary of school kits was from kindergarten to 6th-grade schoolers, with over four hundred (400) recipients. Dir Nenita R. Malbas, a member of the Board of Directors, led the donation together with the Chairperson of the Audit Committee Gertrudes L. Yap.

“Tagum Cooperative is blessed to prosper over the years, and as a way to give back to the community, we are extending our blessings to you with high hopes to elevate education,” Dir. Malbas said in her warm message.

The Tabang Paeskwela was participated by the NCIP Davao Oriental Provincial Director Emmanuel Cacam and the Legal Officer Atty. James Ian Generale. Dir Cacam warmly acknowledged Tagum Cooperative for selecting Davao Oriental as the donation recipient.
