The orientation and reorientation of Tagum Cooperative’s elective and appointive officers set the stage for greater success and accomplishments on May 11, 2024, at the TC Function Hall, Main Building, Tagum City, Davao Del Norte. This significant event guided the leaders in ensuring that employees remain focused on achieving the goals and objectives set by the

organization.

Achieving greater heights as an organization is a result of the concerted efforts of empowered members and good governance and management. Tagum Cooperative ensures that its chosen leaders embody cooperative values and are well-informed about the cooperative’s history, policies, and services.

Reflecting on the cooperative’s colorful history and recent milestones, reviewing the duties and responsibilities of co-op officials—including Elective, Appointive, and Standing Committees as outlined in the TC bylaws—and understanding the key points of significant approved TC policies are the primary objectives of every orientation and re-orientation of TC officials.

The highlight of the event was the Oath of Duty for the appointive officials, administered by Atty. Heaven Lor Gloria. This moment symbolized the beginning of their impending duties and responsibilities. Additionally, a review and presentation of the Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) by each Committee allowed the participants to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and set the tone for another year of dedicated effort and hard work.

Spearheaded by the Education Committee, the event emphasized the importance of each official taking charge with a full purpose of heart and diligence. As they perform their respective duties, they are reminded to remain accountable to the oath they have taken, demonstrating endless loyalty to Tagum Cooperative and the General Assembly.

This orientation and reorientation event is not just a formality but a moment to reinforce the foundation of good governance and empowered leadership within Tagum Cooperative. Al Gee Omega C. Bula
