The holiday season is a time for reflection, giving, and strengthening community bonds. Tagum Cooperative’s “Regalo de Pasko” program embodies the cooperative principle of concern for community by combining social responsibility with festive celebration.
Funded by the Cooperative Development Fund, “Regalo de Pasko” goes beyond material gifts. Scheduled on December 17, 2024, the program aims to educate, empower, and inspire PASADA members while also engaging the broader community. By encouraging members to bring a guest, the program fosters inclusivity and strengthens community connections.
A key component of the program was an educational seminar that focused on Tagum Cooperative’s products and services, the PASADA savings program, and safe driving practices. This seminar aims to enhance members’ knowledge and skills, empowering them to make informed financial decisions and prioritize safety.
The program also included festive activities like parlor games, shared meals, and gift-giving. These activities created a joyful atmosphere and strengthened the bond between the cooperative and its members.
By combining education, community engagement, and festive celebration, “Regalo de Pasko” leaves a lasting impact, building a sense of belonging, empowerment, and solidarity within the Tagum Cooperative community.
