Tagum Cooperative, through the Education Committee, successfully conducted the 2024 Ownership Seminar centered on the theme “Unveiling Financial Possibilities” and encompassed a series of enlightening sessions that commenced on February 3, 2024, and concluded on March 2, 2024, via Zoom platform. Throughout the sessions, TC Members were immersed in an exploration of the TC’s extensive array of products and services, with a specific focus on savings products, understanding their distinct advantages and exclusive benefits.

The objective of this learning session was not only to familiarize members with these offerings but also to empower them to contribute to increasing patronage, boosting engagement among existing members, and enhancing the overall membership experience by guiding them towards higher membership categories, particularly emphasizing the privileges and benefits associated with a class A membership.

In sustaining the longevity and resilience of a billionaire cooperative operating for more than 50 years, periodic scrutiny of the best products and services based on members’ needs and rightful demands is paramount. Recognizing that the 1-hour Pre-Membership Orientation session may not suffice for members to fully grasp the breadth of products and services, a deepening session was deemed necessary to re-update members on the specific features of offerings, ensuring they can fully enjoy the benefits they provide.

Beyond the primary goal of empowering cooperative members with knowledge about the diverse range of products and services, the seminar aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of these offerings, foster more informed and engaged membership, and ultimately contribute to the cooperative’s overall success and sustainability. Aligning promotional efforts with member needs and expectations is crucial for sustained growth, member satisfaction, and overall success in the marketplace. The success of the seminar was evident through the participation of over 3,000 TC members from various TC Branches and Satellite offices, alongside their Branch Managers, Area Managers, Members from the Management, Senior Management, and TC Officers. These eight learning sessions, led by the Education Committee, not only facilitated learning but also provided an avenue for members to seek clarification, raise concerns, or make inquiries relevant to the presentations, enhancing the overall experience and value derived from the webinar.
