After months of renovation, Tagum Cooperative FuneCare1, located at Prk. 4-Santol, La Filipina, inaugurated its new parking lot on May 8, 2024, with a blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Rev. Fr. Ian Glenn Bungabong of the Parish of Christ the Eucharistic King.
A property acquired in 2022, spanning five thousand (5,000) square meters, is now ready to accommodate members visiting and availing services at TC FuneCare1.
The renovation of the property started in August 2023. Now, the area has been leveled, a waiting shed constructed, and the premises fences to enhance safety and provide reassurance to visitors. This allows for secure parking of their vehicles when visiting deceased relatives or friends, or when conducting personal transactions at the office.
Chairperson of the Board Dir. Rosamaria S. Torrejano, and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Juris D. Perez, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony accompanied by the members of the Board of Directors and TC FuneCare personnel. Additionally, Fr. Bungabong presided over the blessing rite, offering prayers and sprinkling holy water in every space and corner of the property.
As the parking lot began to be used, the focus shifted to installing CCTV cameras around the property. Tagum Cooperative prioritizes the welfare of its members and clients, not just in the present but for the long-term operations of TC FuneCare1. Britney Ann B. Manayon
