More than 1,400 TC Members participated in ‘Ramdam Kita: Battling Burnout, Building Resilience, and Cultivating Well-being,’ an online training focused on mental health. The training sessions took place on July 29, August 4, and August 18, 2023, and were conducted via Zoom video conferencing.
This initiative was organized by the Gender and Development/Gender Equality (GAD/GE) Committee, under the leadership of Committee Chairperson Dir. Monica L. Salido, MM.
The said training highlights the valuable insights shared by Dr. Rachele Jan Enojada, a Registered Psychologist and a proud member of Tagum Cooperative. Dr. Enojada’s expertise and experience were instrumental in enriching the training sessions, providing participants with valuable knowledge and guidance on mental health.
During the training sessions, participating members gained a deep understanding of the significance of maintaining positive mental health, recognizing its profound influence on their overall well-being. They discovered how it can significantly impact both their work performance and personal relationships.
Furthermore, the training aimed to foster mental well-being within the cooperative, to enhance workplace productivity and enable members to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
In the years to come, TC members can anticipate an array of activities and services focused on enhancing mental wellness. The GAD/GE Committee and the management are committed to putting forth significant efforts to ensure the program’s feasibility and long-term sustainability.Mental health is a paramount concern for cooperative members, and prioritizing the promotion of good mental health within Tagum Cooperative is not only a responsible and ethical decision but also a key contributor to the sustainability and success of Tagum Cooperative as a member-driven organization.
