Twelve Branches and four satellite offices bellows Tagum Cooperative’s fifty-one years of service excellence. The spirit of cooperativism has now reached the Crown City of the South – Koronadal City in South Cotabato as the billionaire and multi-awarded cooperative was welcomed by its friendly residents and prominent personalities.

On the 20th of November the local officials, partner institutions, TC Officials, Management and staff gathered at SCJ Building 2, Jose Abad Santos St., Poblacion, Koronadal City for the historic inaugural of the new satellite office. The blessing rites was officiated by Rev. Fr. Alexander Salas followed by the motorcade showcasing the unique-looking yellow tricycles of Koronadal and other vehicles circling the major streets in the city.

Vice Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena graced the event expressing his thankfulness for Tagum Cooperative’s presence in a city like theirs which he indicated as a sign that there will be opportunities for their future children. CEO Juris D. Perez likewise conveyed a message of gratitude for the warm welcome.

“Earlier, we recited the TC Mission, Vision and Core Values, and it reminds us to renew our commitment; we are committed in our mission to serve the people and extend it in the beautiful (kanami) city of Koronadal.” CEO Perez states.

BOD Chairperson Eduard C. Amoguis earnestly shared his heartfelt appreciation for granting TC the opportunity to open its fourth satellite office. “The dream is on its fullest after years of hard work, determination, perseverance, and focus in achieving this noble goal,” he adds. Ms. Joanne Legurpa, Satellite Office Head, has assured the management, members and partners that they will commit themselves to work hard and strive for a successful operation to deliver what is expected from them. “We promise to be honest in working and serving the cooperative members to the best that we can be.” The statement shows of her and her team’s dedication to serve the members and the community in the most excellent way Tagum Cooperative is known for.

In December 2018 – a new addition to the Tagum Coop Family will be established in Malita, Davao Occidental as a sub-office for Digos Branch, in fulfillment of the 20 branches in 2020 goal.
