[Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Ceremony 2024] The annual Brigada Eskwela kick-off in the Davao Region commenced with a strong sense of community spirit and cooperation in preparation for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025. The launch occurred on July 22, 2024, at Rizal Central Elementary School in Digos City, followed by subsequent activities on July 23, 2024, at Magatos Integrated School for the Davao del Norte Division kick-off and Visayan Village Elementary School for the Tagum City Division kick-off.
A diverse array of individuals participated, including representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd), local government units (LGUs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the private sector, teachers, students, and volunteers, all coming together to support this operation.
Remarkably, Tagum Cooperative officers and management participated in the kick-off activities, donating wall fans and other materials like grasscutters to help maintain school grounds. These contributions ensure that classrooms are comfortable and conducive to learning. This thoughtful contribution motivates students by providing a pleasant and well-ventilated classroom atmosphere.
As preparations continue, DepEd and its partners remain dedicated to maintaining safe, clean, and fully equipped school facilities. The kick-off in the Davao Region highlighted the theme, “Matatag: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa.”
