The existing Tagum Cooperative Radio Program dubbed as “Tagum Coop: Tubag sa Panginahanglan, Guiya sa Kauswagan” continues to serve its members for more than a decade delivering the latest updates, discussing important matters and events related to the multi-billionaire Tagum Cooperative for the benefit its members and its surrounding communities.
As the demand to access information increases year-after-year, Tagum Cooperative deemed fit to team up with another radio station to expand its scope, thus, the new partnership with Davao de Oro’s Z Radio 88.5FM. The one hour program airs every Friday, 03:00-04:00 in the afternoon reaching areas in Davao de Oro such as Maragusan, Pantukan, and Monkayo, among others.
Tagum Cooperative formalized the partnership through the signing of Memorandum of Agreement last March 18, 2021 represented by TC Vice Chairperson and Education Committee Chairperson Noel O. Quidilla and official representatives from Z Radio 88.5FM.
Dir. Noel O. Quidilla notes of Tagum Cooperative’s dedication to educate its members and the community by not only selling its products and services but also teaching the importance of Financial Literacy from its youth members to regular and associate members. “Tagum Cooperative takes to heart the 5th Cooperative Principle, Education, Training and Information. This radio program will also give opportunity to the members and potential members to learn more about our Coop,” Dir. Quidilla states.
The program brings its recognizable format which features a casual conversational format in its new partner bringing the same information-packed discussions. Tagum Cooperative also sees to it that it remains engaging and interactive by incorporating its very own Text Promo which gives the listeners a chance to win exciting prizes.
Tagum Cooperative also airs on DXDN Tagum every Saturday, 06:00-07:00 in the morning while those who do not have radios may watch both radio programs live on TC’s official FacebM ook page (https://www.facebook.com/OfficialPageTagumCoop).
