Capping the anticipated “20 Branches in 2020” is the establishment of Tagum Cooperative’s Surigao Satellite Office. The newest business center is strategically located at Km. 3, Barangay Luna, Surigao City.


The momentous Blessing and Inauguration was held on August 28, 2020. Local Government, Partners, Officers, Management and staff attended physically and virtually to follow the “new normal” guidelines including the wearing of masks, physical distancing, and live feed for virtual interaction.


TC Chairperson Rosalina S. Argent, who gave her message through a live video via Zoom, proudly states that despite of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Tagum Cooperative continues to operate efficiently and is proud to extend its products and services to the progressive City of Surigao. “We are grateful to Surigao City for allowing us to open in the City of Island Adventures. May we work side by side, hand in hand, to create a strong and fruitful relationship for the beloved members of Tagum Cooperative and the people of Surigao” the Chairperson states.


Surigao City Mayor Ernesto “Estong” U. Matugas Jr, represented by Councilor Mario Gesta conveys his gratitude to Tagum Cooperative for choosing Surigao City to put up a Satellite Office. “Tagum Cooperative is the biggest Cooperative to arrive in our City. This will greatly help not only the Citizens of Barangay Luna but in general, the citizens of Surigao.” Councilor Gesta

The biggest task falls to the new Satellite Office Manager Mr. Leoncio Mejino who said that he is thankful for the opportunity to serve. “Our team is committed to serve with all our hearts to be a partner of the beloved people Surigao.” Mr. Mejino expresses.


The multi-billion Tagum Cooperative, the icon of trust and excellence, aims to be the most preferred coop in Mindanao by year 2025.
