More than 2,500 Tagum Cooperative (TC) Members joined this year’s virtual Ownership Meeting, an annual event facilitated by the Education Committee. This event aims to engage Members in Good Standing (MIGS) by providing updates on TC’s latest operational activities, financial highlights, developmental initiatives, and other relevant announcements essential for members.

The Ownership Meeting was conducted in an online platform via Zoom, offering participants an interactive and engaging digital learning experience. To ensure accessibility and convenience, the sessions were strategically divided into 12 schedules from October 30 to December 16, 2024, effectively accommodating members from all 32 TC branches and satellite offices.

Each session followed a structured program that began with a welcome message from a Board of Directors member, followed by a presentation by the Branch Manager covering operational updates and developments. The Election Committee then provided an in-depth discussion of the TC Election Code, including details on how members could apply to run as District Representatives (DR) and announcements of schedules on the Regular District Meetings (RDM). To keep the sessions engaging, a Trivia Quiz was included, adding a fun and interactive element for participants.

The program also featured an Open Forum facilitated by a Committee Officer, where member’s questions and concerns were addressed by Branch Managers and Department Heads, with the support of the Board of Directors and Committee Officers. This forum served as an excellent platform for addressing member’s concerns and promoting connections. It also provided valuable insights into how TC’s products and services could be further improved to meet member‘s needs.

Each session concluded with a closing message from the assigned Board of Director. To add excitement, Raffle Prizes were given to lucky participants, making the event even more memorable. The Ownership Meeting continues to be evident to Tagum Cooperative’s commitment to open communication and transparency, that its members remain informed and actively involved in the cooperative’s growth and development.
