Approximately three hundred (300) senior citizen members attended Senior Citizens’ Day on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Activity Area, City Mall of Tagum. Although this commemoration is usually celebrated yearly in August, Tagum Cooperative acknowledges that it would not be what it is today without the significant contributions of its pioneer members. Therefore, this event was conducted as part of the second day of the weeklong celebration of Tagum Cooperative’s 57th Anniversary.
The program featured various engaging and enjoyable activities such as talent presentations, games, and a raffle draw. In this way, seniors deserve to be happy and live a stress-free life even in their post-retirement stage. Additionally, Ms. Aiza Faustino Manglicmot, RPm, RPsy, facilitated a brief learning session on mental wellness for seniors to raise awareness.
Gracing this event were the members of the Board of Directors, committee officers, and notably, the GAD/GE Committee officers led by the Chairperson, Dir. Eduard C. Amoguis, along with Dir. Josephine L. Fadul and Mr. Mauricio Limbaga.
