[Training on Smokeless Fragrant and Non-Fragrant Candles] Another session of the Smokeless Fragrant and Non-Fragrant Candle Making Training took place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, alongside the scenery of Energy Park, Apokon, Tagum City. This marked the second phase of the training, after the successful completion of its first phase on May 4, 2024, where solo parents from Tagum Livelihood Developmental Association were equipped with essential skills in producing profitable scented and unscented candles.
This time, Mr and Mrs. Maria Consuelo L. Encarnacion, a veteran candle maker, trainer, and the owner of the well-known St. Vincent D’Novelty Candle Shop, teaches the solo parents the enhancement and product standardization focuses on technical proficiency and the importance of quality control, safety measures, and market viability. Participants were encouraged to harness their newfound skills to start small-scale candle businesses or existing ventures.
