Taguig City – Tagum Cooperative (TC) administered a learning visit from ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative on April 24, 2024, as continuous learning for success and innovation. The learning visit opened the opportunity to understand their governance, member services, financial management, business ventures, employee development programs, and branching strategies.
TC was headed by the Chairperson of the Board, Dir. Rosamaria S. Torrejano, and the Chief Executive Officer Ms. Juris D. Perez. TC has observed ACDI’s impressive growth, as a result of the expansion and diversification of its business lines. ACDI’s strategy of hiring well-equipped personnel for each business line ensures that each venture is well-supported and capable of meeting specific needs.
While ACDI’s IT practices are comparable to those of Tagum Cooperative, ACDI distinguishes itself through the creation of a dedicated call center designed to address member and client concerns efficiently. This initiative highlights ACDI’s proactive approach to addressing member concerns.
The learning visit highlights the importance of inter-cooperative learning and collaboration. TC draws inspiration from ACDI’s successful strategies and innovative practices to enhance its own operations, drive growth, and continue delivering value-added services to members. This exchange of knowledge not only brings together cooperatives but also contributes to the advancement of the cooperative movement as a whole.
