Tagum Cooperative Funecare commemorated a significant milestone on March 15, 2023 for 16th years of service in providing compassionate funeral services to members and non-members.
The event took place at TC FuneCare 2, KM 54 located along Visayan Village, National Highway. It was a show of testament to the cooperative’s unwavering commitment to helping families in their most challenging time.
The anniversary celebration commenced with a Eucharistic mass led by Reverend Father Felix T. Labor, who highlighted the significance of expressing gratitude for the foundation of a community, family, cooperative, organization, or institution. Fr. Labor pointed out that while talent and material resources may be crucial to success, these can be unstable in the face of economic fluctuations. He emphasized that the key to a strong and lasting foundation is to prioritize principles such as integrity, harmony, justice, peace, and the common good, all of which align with God’s divine will.
“One thing I noticed in Tagum Cooperative is that most of the original founders are deeply believers.”, he added.
Meanwhile, a host of notable individuals graced the TC Funecare ceremony, including the expanded management team which consisted of FuneCare Services Manager Maria April V. Bandala, FuneCare Operations Supervisor Lourence T. Caga-anan, Membership & Marketing Manager Joy Fritz H. Josol, General Services Supervisor Kristine T. Lumayno, and Operations Supervisor Paolo Khyrzz Sumagang. The event was a true representation of the cooperative’s collaborative spirit, with all of its employees coming together to mark the occasion.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, all attendees were treated to a delightful thanksgiving dinner, which provided a chance for the TC FuneCare employees and staff to gather together and revel in their accomplishments over the course of the past 16 years.
As Tagum Cooperative Funecare embarks on its 17th year, it remains steadfast in its mission to offer empathetic and top-notch funeral services to families in distress. The celebration served as a testimony to the cooperative’s devotion to excellence, as evidenced by its resounding success and a befitting tribute to its pledge to provide compassionate funeral service.
Currently, Tagum Cooperative FuneCare operates two branches in Tagum City, situated in Purok 4 Santol, Brgy. La Filipina, and Km. 54 Brgy. Visayan Village.
