Listen and learn. The need to stay informed, think critically, and educate oneself before putting plans into action. The more our leaders are informed, the better they can make sound decisions with those affected by the issue. There are also times, one has to stop talking to understand better.

Embrace diversity and inclusion. This one should be specific, like leaders being aware of unconscious bias and for them to manage those biases, develop a strategic training program that will cater to individual capabilities, even acknowledge individual holidays of all cultures, promote pay equity, and mixing up teams to allow more ideas and increase productivity.

Be a thought leader. This one is a special brand of leadership that, hopefully, we have in the organization. They are leaders who, based on their expertise and industry perspective, offer unique guidance, and inspire the players in the workplace to be innovative and a good influence on others. Tough acts to follow, but we really need this kind of leadership.
