October 8 marks a memorable day for officers, management, staff and members as TC finally opens its Kidapawan satellite office located at AMQ Building, Padilla Street, Poblacion Kidapawan City, Cotabato. The festivities kicked-off with the motorcade followed by the blessing of the whole office officiated by Rev. Fr. Rodel Balansag and the program proper afterwards.

During her speech, TC Chairperson Rosalina S. Argent positively notes that being a member of Tagum Cooperative is very much like joining a family. “With our assets reaching Php 7 Billion and more than 165,000 members, I encourage that each one of you who are not yet members to join the Tagum Coop family, to help improve you and your family member’s lives.”

The celebration was joined by Kidapawan Vice-Mayor Jivy Roe Bombeo who congratulated the Tagum Coop family for launching in Kidapawan City. The Vice Mayor also stated that the Local Government do not treat each and every cooperative a competition because Coops help improve the lives of the community. “Hopefully, I will become one of the members of your coop to show the people of Kidapawan that being a member of the cooperative is beneficial to their lives. The local government of Kidapawan is pledging in whatever we can do to help the cooperatives that is why we have a division especially for coops headed by Councilor Lonzaga,” the Vice Mayor notes. The opening of the satellite office was also joined by Councilor Gregorio Lonzaga, Chairperson on the Committee on Cooperatives, and Councilor Aljo Cris Dizon.

Anna Lourdes A. Jabal, Kidapawan Satellite Office Head, is also thankful for choosing and trusting her and her team to run the business center. “Our team promises to deliver what is expected from us and more. We will be able to achieve this through helping each other and through our sincere service for the advancement of our Cooperative.”

Tagum Cooperative targets to open 20 business centers by year 2020, and the opening of Kidapawan Satellite Office marks the 19th office across Mindanao.
